In Kortrijk - Vetex the gatebuilding of a former textile factory is being transformed into a multifunctional community centre for neighbourhood and a youth association

The VISP-project desires to enhance and demonstrate vitalization and recovery of urban areas through design and implementation of new transnational solutions to  integrated spatial planning involving

  • Integration of physical, economic, social and environmental vitalization
  • Life Long Learning (LLL)
  • Networking (physical and virtual)
  • Increased Citizens Participation

and thereby regenerating the economic potential of the area and creating attractive places for all citizens.
